Urban Cowgirl.  24" X 30" X 2"  Hand embellished print on fine art paper laminated to a wood panel. Framed and ready to hang

….Alice rode confidently through the streets of downtown Houston well aware of the commotion she was causing….

In the exhilarating composition of "Urban Cowgirl," viewers are drawn into a vibrant celebration of the modern spirit intertwined with echoes of the past. This dynamic mixed media piece captures the essence of a pioneering woman carving her way through an urban landscape, where the old west and contemporary cityscapes collide in a harmonious visual symphony.

Enveloping this powerful duo is a backdrop of abstract geometric shapes, radiating vibrant hues of red, orange, blue, and yellow. These elements together craft an immersive cityscape that is both familiar and fantastically reimagined, suggesting not only a place but a mood—a realm where history and modernity exist in balance.

"Urban Cowgirl" is a testament to the idea of forging one's path with courage and authenticity. It speaks to the limitless potential within us all to embrace change while honoring where we come from, to ride boldly into the unknown, and to paint our own vibrant masterpiece upon the canvas of life.

The image is printed on museum quality archival paper and highlighted with acrylic paint and ink. It is then laminated to a cradled wood panel, varnished, waxed and framed in a black wood floater frame.
