"Morocco boasts a captivating history, with influences from Phoenicians, Romans, and Arabs"
In the realm where dreams meet earthly wonders, I present "Atlas Mountains Morocco," my latest creation that unfurls as a mystical tapestry of time and culture.
This artwork, a fusion of acrylic, ink, and digital collage, is a journey into a land where the dance of dune-like terrains harmonizes with the whispers of ancient fortresses. Witness silhouettes woven in cultural tales as they stand amidst abstract landscapes, guarded by snow-capped sentinels that kiss the skies.
Inspired by my travels through Morocco, this piece is a portal to explore contrasts and echoes of stories untold. May its essence invoke the wanderer within, urging you to traverse and unravel its secrets.
My mixed media paintings consist of acrylic paint and digital collage. They are painted on museum quality archival paper and then laminated to a cradled wood panel, varnished, waxed and then framed in a black floater frame. Each piece begins as a digital study on an iPad where the basic composition and coloring is determined before the hand painted original is started.
